समिद्धस्य श्रयमाणः पुरस्ताद्ब्रह्म वन्वानो अजरं सुवीरम् । आरे अस्मदमतिं बाधमान उच्छ्रयस्व महते सौभगाय ॥
Transliteration
sam-iddhásya śráyamāṇaḥ purástād bráhma vanvā́nó ajáraṃ su-vī́ram | āré asmád amátiṃ bā́dhamāna ucchrā́yasva mahaté saúbhagāya ||
Translation
ਸਮਿੱਧ ਅਗਨੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਝੁਕ ਕੇ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ, ਬ੍ਰਹਮ (ਮੰਤ੍ਰ-ਵਾਣੀ) ਨਾਲ ਅਜਰ ਤੇ ਸੁਵੀਰ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤਦਾ—ਸਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਰਮਤੀ (ਵਕਰੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ, ਕੁਟਿਲ ਮਨ) ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਹਟਾ; ਮਹਾਨ ਸੌਭਾਗ ਲਈ ਉੱਚਾ ਉੱਠ, ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋ।
