ब्रह्मणस्पतिरेता सं कर्मार इवाधमत् । देवानां पूर्व्ये युगेऽसतः सदजायत ॥
Transliteration
bráhmaṇas pátir etā́ sáṃ karmā́ra ivā́dhamat | devā́nāṃ pū́rvye yugé ásataḥ sád ajāyata ||
Translation
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਣਸਪਤੀ ਨੇ, ਕਮ੍ਹਾਰ (ਲੋਹਾਰ-ਸ਼ਿਲਪੀ) ਵਾਂਗ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੂਕ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਇਕਸਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਵ ਯੁਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਤ ਤੋਂ ਸਤ ਜੰਮਿਆ—ਅਰੂਪ ਤੋਂ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਉਭਰਿਆ।
