Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

खे यथा निपतत्युल्का ह्युत्तरान्ताद्विनिःसृता।।।।दृश्यते सानुबन्धा च तथा स कपिकुञ्जरः।

Transliteration

khe yathā nipataty ulkā hy uttarāntād viniḥsṛtā | dṛśyate sānubandhā ca tathā sa kapikuñjaraḥ ||

Translation

ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲੀ ਉਲਕਾ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਿੱਛਲੀ ਲਕੀਰ ਸਮੇਤ ਦੌੜਦੀ ਦਿਸਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਕਪਿਕੁੰਜਰ ਵੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਦੌੜਦਾ ਦਿੱਸਿਆ।
