समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
आनुपूर्व्येण वृत्तं च लाङ्गूलं लोमभिश्चितम्।उत्पतिष्यन् विचिक्षेप पक्षिराज इवोरगम्।।।।
ānupūrvyeṇa vṛttaṃ ca lāṅgūlaṃ lomabhiś citam | utpatiṣyan vicikṣepa pakṣirāja ivoragam ||
ਉੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ, ਘੇਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੜਿਆ ਆਪਣਾ ਲਾਂਗੂਲ ਕ੍ਰਮਵਾਰ ਝਟਕਿਆ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪੱਖੀਰਾਜ ਗਰੁੜ ਸੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਝਾੜ ਦੇਵੇ।
