Vasiṣṭha’s Hospitality to Viśvāmitra and the Summoning of Śabalā/Kāmadhenu
प्रतिगृह्य तु तां पूजां वसिष्ठाद्राजसत्तम:।तपोग्निहोत्रशिष्येषु कुशलं पर्यपृच्छत।।।।विश्वामित्रो महातेजा वनस्पतिगणे तथा ।सर्वत्र कुशलं चाह वसिष्ठो राजसत्तमम्।।।।
pratigṛhya tu tāṃ pūjāṃ vasiṣṭhād rājasattamaḥ |
tapo’gnihotraśiṣyeṣu kuśalaṃ paryapṛcchata ||
viśvāmitro mahātejā vanaspatigaṇe tathā |
sarvatra kuśalaṃ cāha vasiṣṭho rājasattamam ||
ਵਸਿਸ਼ਠ ਦੀ ਉਹ ਪੂਜਾ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਤੇਜਸਵੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਮਿਤ੍ਰ—ਰਾਜਸੱਤਮ—ਨੇ ਵਸਿਸ਼ਠ ਦੇ ਤਪ, ਅਗਨਿਹੋਤ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਖੈਰ-ਖ਼ਬਰ ਪੁੱਛੀ; ਅਤੇ ਆਸ਼ਰਮ ਦੇ ਵਨਸਪਤਿਗਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਿਆ। ਵਸਿਸ਼ਠ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਰਾਜਸੱਤਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਕੁਸ਼ਲ ਹੈ।
