भरद्वाजाश्रमात् चित्रकूटमार्गनिर्देशः

सा सम्प्रहृष्टद्विपवाजियोधा वित्रासयन्ती मृगपक्षिसङ्घान्। महद्वनं तत्प्रतिगाहमाना रराज सेना भरतस्य तत्र।।2.92.39।।
sā samprahṛṣṭa-dvipa-vāji-yodhā vitrāsayantī mṛga-pakṣi-saṅghān | mahad vanaṃ tat pratigāhamānā rarāja senā bharatasya tatra || 2.92.39 ||
ਉੱਥੇ ਭਰਤ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ—ਹਰਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ, ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ—ਵੱਡੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਹੋਈ; ਮਿਰਗਾਂ ਤੇ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਝੁੰਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੋਈ, ਆਪਣੀ ਘਣੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਨਾਲ ਚਮਕ ਉਠੀ।
