Ayodhyā’s Succession Alarm

हृष्टाः खलु भविष्यन्ति रामस्य परमास्स्त्रियः।अप्रहृष्टा भविष्यन्ति स्नुषास्ते भरतक्षये।।2.8.12।।

hṛṣṭāḥ khalu bhaviṣyanti rāmasya paramāḥ striyaḥ | aprahṛṣṭā bhaviṣyanti snuṣās te bharata-kṣaye || 2.8.12 ||

ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪੱਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਉੱਤਮ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਚੇ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ; ਪਰ ਭਰਤ ਦੇ ਪਤਨ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰਹਾਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ।
