भरतस्य मातृसदनगमनं कैकेय्या दारुणवृत्तान्तकथनं च

एतत्सुरुचिरं भाति पितुर्मे शयनं पुरा।शशिनेवामलं रात्रौ गगनं तोयदात्यये।।2.72.19।।
etat suruciraṃ bhāti pitur me śayanaṃ purā | śaśinevāmalaṃ rātrau gaganaṃ toyadātyaye || 2.72.19 ||
ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਯਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਚਮਕਦਾ ਸੀ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਵਰਖਾ ਦੇ ਬੱਦਲ ਛਟ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਚਮਕ ਉਠਦਾ ਹੈ।
