Daśaratha Questions Sumantra; Messages from the Forest Threshold
सूत मद्वचनात्तस्य तातस्य विदितात्मनः।शिरसा वन्दनीयस्य वन्द्यौ पादौ महात्मनः।।।।
sūta madvacanāt tasya tātasya viditātmanaḥ |
śirasā vandanīyasya vandyau pādau mahātmanaḥ ||
“ਹੇ ਸੂਤ, ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ—ਆਤਮ-ਸੰਯਮੀ, ਸਿਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੰਦਨਯੋਗ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ—ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੀਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਪੂਜਣਯੋਗ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।”
