अथाऽसाद्य तु कालिन्दीं शीघ्रस्रोतोवहां नदीम्।चिन्तामापेदिरे सर्वे नदीजलतितीर्षवः।।।।
athāsādya tu kālindīṃ śīghra-srotovahāṃ nadīm |
cintām āpedire sarve nadī-jala-titīrṣavaḥ ||
ਫਿਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਧਾਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਾਲਿੰਦੀ ਨਦੀ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਲ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਭ ਜਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਿਮਰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਗਏ।
