Sumitra’s Consolation to Kausalya

पुत्रस्ते वरदः क्षिप्रमयोध्यां पुनरागतः।पाणिभ्यां मृदुपीनाभ्यां चरणौ पीडयिष्यति।।।।

putras te varadaḥ kṣipram ayodhyāṃ punar āgataḥ | pāṇibhyāṃ mṛdu-pīnābhyāṃ caraṇau pīḍayiṣyati ||

ਤੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ—ਵਰਦਾਤਾ—ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮੁੜ ਅਯੋਧਿਆ ਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ; ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਮਲ, ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨ ਦਬਾ ਕੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
