स तं सस्मितमाभाष्य पुत्रं पुत्रवतां वरः।।।।उवाचेदं वचो राजा देवेन्द्रमिव काश्यपः।
sa taṃ sasmitaṃ ābhāṣya putraṃ putravatāṃ varaḥ |
uvācedaṃ vaco rājā devendram iva kāśyapaḥ ||
ਮੁਸਕੁਰਾਂਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਕੇ, ਪਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਬਚਨ ਕਹੇ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਸ਼੍ਯਪ ਦੇਵੇਂਦ੍ਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
