अनसूयोपदेशः तथा सीताया स्वयंवरकथा
Anasuya’s Counsel and Sita’s Swayamvara Narrative
नियमैर्विविधैराप्तं तपो हि महदस्ति मे।तत्संश्रित्य बलं सीते छन्दये त्वां शुचिव्रते।।2.118.14।।
niyamair vividhair āptaṃ tapo hi mahad asti me |
tat saṃśritya balaṃ sīte chandaye tvāṃ śucivrate ||2.118.14||
ਹੇ ਸੀਤੇ, ਸ਼ੁਚਿਵ੍ਰਤੇ! ਅਨੇਕ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਮਹਾਨ ਤਪੋਬਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ; ਉਸ ਬਲ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ।
O Sita of pure conduct, I have great ascetic power obtained through practising various austerities. With its strength I shall give what you want for your enjoyment.
