अनसूयोपदेशः तथा सीताया स्वयंवरकथा
Anasuya’s Counsel and Sita’s Swayamvara Narrative
सावित्री पतिशुश्रूषां कृत्वा स्वर्गे महीयते।तथावृत्तिश्च याता त्वं पतिशुश्रूषया दिवम्।।2.118.10।।
sāvitrī patiśuśrūṣāṃ kṛtvā svarge mahīyate | tathāvṛttiś ca yātā tvaṃ patiśuśrūṣayā divam ||
ਸਾਵਿਤ੍ਰੀ ਪਤੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਸ਼੍ਰੂਸ਼ਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਪਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ; ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਤੀ-ਸ਼ੁਸ਼੍ਰੂਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਇਸੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾ ਕੇ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੇਂਗੀ।
Having served her husband (faithfully), Savitri is honoured in heaven. You also, byfollowing the same path of serving your husband, shall reach the heaven.
