तांस्तु सर्वान्प्रतिव्यूह्य युद्धे राजा प्रवासितः।स च शैलवरे रम्ये बभूवाभिरतो मुनिः।।।।

tāṃs tu sarvān prativyūhya yuddhe rājā pravāsitaḥ |

sa ca śailavare ramye babhūvābhirato muniḥ ||

ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਪਰਾਜਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਸ (ਨਿਰਵਾਸ) ਵਿੱਚ ਧੱਕਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਨੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ-ਚਿੱਤ ਰਹਿਆ।
