पितृमरणश्रवणं जलक्रिया च
Hearing of Daśaratha’s death and the libation rites at Mandākinī
हयैरन्ये गजैरन्ये रथैरन्ये स्वलङ्कृतैः।सुकुमारा स्तथैवान्ये पद्भिरेव नरा ययुः।।।।
hayair anyē gajair anyē rathair anyē svalaṅkṛtaiḥ |
sukumārās tathaivānyē padbhir ēva narā yayuḥ ||
ਕੁਝ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ, ਕੁਝ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ, ਕੁਝ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਜਾਏ ਰਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ; ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਨਾਜ਼ੁਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਨਰ ਪੈਦਲ ਹੀ ਚੱਲ ਪਏ।
