ततः पर्णकुटीद्वारमासाद्य जगतीपतिः।परिजग्राह बाहुभ्यामुभौ भरतलक्ष्मणौ।।।।

Transliteration

tataḥ parṇakuṭīdvāram āsādya jagatīpatiḥ |

parijagrāha bāhubhyām ubhau bharatalakṣmaṇau ||

Translation

ਤਦੋਂ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਰਾਮ ਪੱਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਟੀਆ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਕਸ਼ਮਣ—ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ—ਗਲੇ ਲਾ ਲਿਆ।
