मित्रापत्यगृहक्षेत्रधनधान्यपशुष्वपि । हानिमिच्छन्नरः कुर्यादसूयां सततं द्विज ॥ २२ ॥

Transliteration

mitrāpatyagṛhakṣetradhanadhānyapaśuṣvapi | hānimicchannaraḥ kuryādasūyāṃ satataṃ dvija || 22 ||

Translation

ਹੇ ਦਵਿਜ! ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਿੱਤਰ, ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਘਰ, ਖੇਤ, ਧਨ, ਅਨਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਸਦਾ ਈਰਖਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
