वदंति वाचा धर्मांश्च चेतसा पापलोलुपाः । धनविद्यावयोमत्ताः सर्वदुःखपरायणाः ॥ ६८ ॥

Transliteration

vadaṃti vācā dharmāṃśca cetasā pāpalolupāḥ | dhanavidyāvayomattāḥ sarvaduḥkhaparāyaṇāḥ || 68 ||

Translation

ਉਹ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਪਰ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਪ ਦੇ ਲੋਭੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਧਨ, ਵਿਦਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਮਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਤੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਹੀ ਝੁਕਣਗੇ॥
