हेम्ना वा रजतेनापि वृद्धिश्राद्धं प्रकल्पयेत् । अन्नेन कारयेद्यस्तु स चंडाल समो भवेत् ॥ ६ ॥
hemnā vā rajatenāpi vṛddhiśrāddhaṃ prakalpayet | annena kārayedyastu sa caṃḍāla samo bhavet || 6 ||
ਵ੍ਰਿੱਧੀ-ਸ਼੍ਰਾਦ੍ਹ ਸੋਨੇ ਜਾਂ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਜੋ ਕੇਵਲ ਅੰਨ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ, ਉਹ ਚਾਂਡਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
