Adhyaya 91 — The Gods’ Hymn to Kātyāyanī and the Goddess’ Prophecy of Future Manifestations
त्वं वैष्णवी शक्तिरनन्तवीर्या विश्वस्य बीजं परमासि माया ।
सम्मोहितं देवि समस्तमेतत्तवैव वै प्रसन्ना भुवि मुक्तिहेतुः ॥
tvaṃ vaiṣṇavī śaktir ananta-vīryā viśvasya bījaṃ paramāsi māyā | saṃmohitaṃ devi samastam etat tavaiva vai prasannā bhuvi mukti-hetuḥ ||
ਤੂੰ ਅਨੰਤ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਾਲੀ ਵੈਸ਼ਨਵੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਹੈਂ; ਤੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਬੀਜ ਹੈਂ; ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮ ਮਾਇਆ ਹੈਂ। ਹੇ ਦੇਵੀ, ਤੇਰੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਜਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈਂ।

The same divine power that binds through delusion also frees through grace; therefore one should not absolutize worldly appearances but seek the source (Devī) with devotion and discernment.
Aligned with sarga/pratisarga as it names Devī the ‘seed’ (bīja) of the cosmos and the power by which manifestation appears (māyā).
Māyā here is not merely ‘illusion’ but the Goddess’ creative-concealing power. Liberation occurs when that same power ‘turns transparent’ through prasāda, revealing the ground-reality.
