Adhyaya 9 — Vasiṣṭha and Viśvāmitra’s Mutual Curse: The Āḍi–Baka Battle and Brahmā’s Pacification
तौ तु पक्षप्रहाराभ्यामन्योन्यस्योरुविक्रमौ ।
प्रहरन्तौ भयं तीव्रं प्रजानाञ्चक्रतुस् तदा ॥
tau tu pakṣa-prahārābhyām anyonyasyoru-vikramau /
praharantau bhayaṃ tīvraṃ prajānāṃ cakratus tadā
ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮਹਾਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੰਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਆਘਾਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਾਂ ਭੈ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
