Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas
देव्या गणैश्च तैस्तत्र कृतं युद्धं तथासुरैः ।
यथैषां तुतुषुर्देवाः पुष्पवृष्टिमुचो दिवि ॥
devyā gaṇaiśca taistatra kṛtaṃ yuddhaṃ tathāsuraiḥ / yathaiṣāṃ tutuṣurdevāḥ puṣpavṛṣṭimuco divi
ਉੱਥੇ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗਣਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਅਸੁਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਹਾਂ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸੁਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ।
When dharma is restored, the cosmos responds in harmony; the gods’ flower-rain is a purāṇic sign of approval for righteous victory and the rebalancing of order.
