Adhyaya 72 — The Reconciliation Rite, Sarasvati Sacrifice, and the Birth of Uttama Manu (Auttama Manvantara Prelude)
आनीता चातिहार्देन सा ददर्श तदा पतिम् ।
उवाच च प्रसीदेति भूयोभूयो मुदान्विता ॥
ānītā cātihārdena sā dadarśa tadā patim | uvāca ca prasīdeti bhūyobhūyo mudānvitā ||
ਵੱਡੇ ਸਨੇਹ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਥੇ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਗਈ ਉਹ ਫਿਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਰ ਵਾਰ ਬੋਲੀ—“ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੋ, ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਵੋ।”
Affectionate speech and reconciliation are shown as socially stabilizing virtues; the wife’s repeated “prasīda” frames a respectful approach before petitioning for help.
