वक्ष्ये देवानृषींश्चैव यक्षेन्द्राः पितरश्च ये ।
उत्पत्तिं संग्रहं ब्रह्मन् श्रूयतामस्य सन्ततिः ॥
vakṣye devān ṛṣīṃś caiva yakṣendrāḥ pitaraś ca ye | utpattiṃ saṃgrahaṃ brahman śrūyatām asya santatiḥ
ਮੈਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾ, ਯਕਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਪਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਤਪੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਖੇਪ—ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ, ਇਸ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਮ-ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਸੁਣੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
