Adhyaya 45 — Jaimini’s Cosmological Questions and the Opening of Markandeya’s Account of Primary Creation
प्रलयस्यानु तेनेदं व्याप्तमासीदशेषतः ।
गुणसाम्यात्ततस्तस्मात् क्षेत्रज्ञाधिष्ठितान्मुने ॥
pralayasyānu tenedaṃ vyāptam āsīd aśeṣataḥ | guṇasāmyāt tatas tasmāt kṣetrajñādhiṣṭhitān mune ||
ਪ੍ਰਲਯ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਉਸ ਅਵ੍ਯਕਤ ਤੱਤ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਆਪਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਫਿਰ, ਹੇ ਮੁਨੀ, ਖੇਤਰਜ੍ਞ (ਖੇਤਰ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਤਾ) ਦੀ ਅਧਿਸ਼ਠਾਨ-ਸੰਨਿਧੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮ੍ਯ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਰਤਿਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
