सोऽपि तस्य पिता तद्वत् क्रमेण सुमहामतिः ।

वानप्रस्थं समास्थाय चतुर्थाश्रममभ्यगात् ॥

so 'pi tasya pitā tadvat krameṇa sumahā-matiḥ /

vānaprasthaṃ samāsthāya caturthāśramam abhyagāt

ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ—ਵੱਡੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ—ਵਾਨਪ੍ਰਸਥ ਆਸ਼੍ਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਚੌਥੇ ਆਸ਼੍ਰਮ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ, ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ।
