Adhyaya 35 — Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)
अस्नेहाश्चापि गोधूमयवगोरसविक्रियाः । शशकः कच्छपो गोधा श्वावित् खड्गोऽथ पुत्रक ॥
asnehāścāpi godhūmayavagorasavikriyāḥ | śaśakaḥ kacchapo godhā śvāvit khaḍgo 'tha putraka ||
ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਘੀ/ਤੇਲ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਗੰਢਮ ਅਤੇ ਜੌਂ ਦੇ ਬਣੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਬਣੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਵੀ ਵਰਜਿਤ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਖਰਗੋਸ਼, ਕੱਛੂਆ, ਗੋਧਾ (ਇਗੁਆਨਾ), ਸਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਂਡਾ ਵੀ ਤਿਆਗਣਯੋਗ ਹਨ।
