Adhyaya 32 — Rules for Parvana Śrāddha: Foods that Please the Ancestors and Items to Avoid
अनन्तां वै प्रयच्छन्ति तृप्तिं गौरीसुतस्तथा ।
पितॄणां नात्र सन्देहो गयाश्राद्धञ्च पुत्रक ॥
anantāṃ vai prayacchanti tṛptiṃ gaurīsutas tathā / pitṝṇāṃ nātra sandeho gayāśrāddhaṃ ca putraka
ਇਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਅਨੰਤ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦੇ ਹਨ—ਇਉਂ ਗੌਰੀ-ਪੁੱਤਰ ਵੀ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਬੱਚੇ, ਪਿਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ; ਅਤੇ ਗਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਸ਼ਰਾਧ ਵੀ (ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਫਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ)।
