पितृतīrthena तोयं च दद्यात्तेभ्यः समाहितः ।

पितॄniddiśya यद्भक्त्या यजमानो नृपात्मज ॥

Transliteration

pitṛtīrthena toyañca dadyāttebhyaḥ samāhitaḥ / pitṝniddiśya yadbhaktyā yajamāno nṛpātmaja

Translation

ਸੰਯਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪਿਤ੍ਰ-ਤੀਰਥ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਲ ਦੇਵੇ। ਹੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਤਮਜ, ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਭਗਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੇ, ਉਹ ਪਿਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੀ ਕਰੇ—ਇਹੀ ਯੋਗ ਭਾਵ ਹੈ।
