सम्पूजयेद्यथाशक्ति गन्धपुष्पादिभिस्तथा ।
न मित्रमतिथिं कुर्यान्नैकग्रामनिवासिनम् ॥
sampūjayed yathāśakti gandhapuṣpādibhis tathā / na mitram atithiṃ kuryān naikagrāmanivāsinam
ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੁਗੰਧ, ਫੁੱਲ ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪੂਜਨ-ਸਤਕਾਰ ਕਰੇ। ਮਿੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ‘ਅਤਿਥੀ’ ਨਾ ਮੰਨੇ, ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਉਸੇ ਪਿੰਡ/ਗਾਂਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ।
