यथायथं बलं लेभे यथा लेभे मतिं पितुः ।

तथा तथात्मबोधञ्च सोऽवापन्मातृभाषितैः ॥

Transliteration

yathāyathaṃ balaṃ lebhe yathā lebhe matiṃ pituḥ / tathā tathātmabodhaṃ ca so 'vāpan mātṛbhāṣitaiḥ

Translation

ਉਹ ਹੌਲੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੋ ਬੋਧ ਉਮੀਦ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ; ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਤਮ-ਗਿਆਨ ਵੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।
