Adhyaya 15 — Karmic Retribution: Rebirths After Naraka and the King’s Compassion in Hell
स्वकर्मफलभोक्तॄणां पुण्यानां पापिनां तथा ।
तदेह्यन्यत्र गच्छामो दृष्टं सर्वं त्वयाधुना ।
त्वया दृष्टो हि नरकस्तदेह्यन्यत्र गम्यताम् ॥
svakarmaphalabhoktṝṇāṃ puṇyānāṃ pāpināṃ tathā | tadehy anyatra gacchāmo dṛṣṭaṃ sarvaṃ tvayādhunā | tvayā dṛṣṭo hi narakas tadehy anyatra gamyatām ||
ਪੁੰਨਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪੀ—ਦੋਵੇਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਮ-ਫਲ ਦੇ ਭੋਗੀ ਹਨ। ਆਓ, ਅਸੀਂ ਹੋਰ ਥਾਂ ਚੱਲੀਏ; ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਨਿਸ਼ਚੇ ਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਨਰਕ ਵੇਖਿਆ; ਆਓ, ਹੁਣ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਵੱਲ ਚੱਲੀਏ।
