Adhyaya 10 — Jaimini’s Questions on Birth, Death, Karma, and the Embodied Journey
एवं सहस्रमुत्तीर्णो योजनानां विमुच्यते ।
ततो 'न्यं पापशुद्ध्यर्थं तादृङ्निरयमृच्छति ॥
evaṃ sahasramuttīrṇo yojanānāṃ vimucyate | tato 'nyaṃ pāpaśuddhyarthaṃ tādṛṅnirayamṛcchati ||
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਯੋਜਨ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਯਾਤਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧੀ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਉਸੇ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
