Sañjaya’s Envoy-Speech on Peace
तदर्थलुब्धस्य निबोध मेडद्य ये मन्त्रिणो धार्तराष्ट्रस्य सूत । दुःशासन: शकुनि:ः सूतपुत्रो गावल्गणे पश्य सम्मोहमस्य
tadarthalubdhasya nibodha medad ye mantriṇo dhārtarāṣṭrasya sūta | duḥśāsanaḥ śakuniḥ sūtaputro gāvalgaṇe paśya sammohaṁ asya ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਸੂਤ! ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸਮਝ ਲੈ: ਧਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁੱਬੇ ਧ੍ਰਿਤਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਇਹ ਹਨ। ਦੁੱਃਸ਼ਾਸਨ, ਸ਼ਕੁਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਤਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ—ਇਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਗਾਵਲਗਣ! ਵੇਖ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਮੋਹ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
