अपूपैश्नैव पूपैश्न मोदकैश्व समन्वितम्‌ । सभापर्वणि राजेन्द्र हविष्यं भोजयेद्‌ द्विजान्‌

Transliteration

apūpaiśnaiva pūpaiśna modakaiś ca samanvitam | sabhāparvaṇi rājendra haviṣyaṃ bhojayed dvijān ||

Translation

ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਬੋਲੇ— ਹੇ ਰਾਜੇਂਦ੍ਰ! ਸਭਾ-ਪਰਵ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਪੂਪ, ਪੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਦਕ ਆਦਿ ਨਾਲ ਯੁਕਤ ਹਵਿਸ਼੍ਯ (ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਨੈਵੇਦ੍ਯ) ਦੇ ਕੇ ਦ੍ਵਿਜ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਾਵੇ।
