स्वस्ति वाच्य द्विजानादौ ततः कार्ये प्रवर्तिते । समाप्ते पर्वणि ततः स्वशकक््त्या पूजयेद् द्विजान्
svasti vācya dvijān ādau tataḥ kārye pravartite | samāpte parvaṇi tataḥ svaśaktyā pūjayed dvijān ||
ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਬੋਲੇ— ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦ੍ਵਿਜ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਵਸਤੀ-ਵਾਚਨ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ, ਫਿਰ ਪਾਠ/ਕਥਾ-ਵਚਨ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਆਰੰਭ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਵ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ, ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਤੇ ਸਤਕਾਰ ਕਰੇ।
