क्रीडितुं तेन चेच्छन्ति ससूत्रेणेव पक्षिणा । अस्मत्प्रणेयो राजेति लोकांश्वैव वदन्त्युत
krīḍituṃ tena cecchanti sasūtreṇeva pakṣiṇā | asmatpraṇeyo rājeti lokāṃś caiva vadanty uta ||
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਡੋਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਪੰਛੀ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ—“ਰਾਜਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ; ਸਾਡਾ ਦਾਸ ਹੈ।”
