Adhyāya 180: Jīva, Śarīra, and the Fire Analogy (भृगु–भरद्वाज संवादः)
चरन्तं ब्राह्मणं कज्चित् कल्पचित्तमनामयम् | पप्रच्छ राजा प्रह्मादो बुद्धिमान् बुद्धिसम्मतम्
bhīṣma uvāca | carantaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ kaścit kalpacittam anāmayam | papraccha rājā prahrādo buddhimān buddhisammatam ||
ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਚਰਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ-ਚਿੱਤ, ਦੁੱਖ-ਸ਼ੋਕ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਸੰਯਤ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਬੁੱਧਿਮਾਨ ਰਾਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ।
