Adhyāya 180: Jīva, Śarīra, and the Fire Analogy (भृगु–भरद्वाज संवादः)
भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । प्रह्मादस्यथ च संवादं मुनेराजगरस्य च
bhīṣma uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | prahlādasya tathā ca saṁvādaṁ muner ajagarasya ca ||
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਰਾਜਨ! ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ—ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦ ਅਤੇ ‘ਆਜਗਰ-ਵ੍ਰਿੱਤੀ’ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਨੀ ਦਾ ਸੰਵਾਦ।
