शल्यस्य सेनापत्याभ्युपगमः | Śalya’s Acceptance of Command
आकाशे विद्रुमे पुण्ये प्रस्थे हिमवत: शुभे | अरुणां सरस्वती प्राप्य पपु: सस्नुश्चन ते जलम्
ākāśe vidrume puṇye prasthē himavataḥ śubhe | aruṇāṃ sarasvatīṃ prāpya papuḥ sasnuś ca te jalam ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਹਿਮਵਤ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਸ਼ਿਖਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ‘ਆਕਾਸ਼-ਵਿਦ੍ਰੁਮ’ ਨਾਮਕ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ, ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਸਮਤਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਥ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਉੱਥੇ ਲਾਲੀਮਾਭਰੀ ਧਾਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਰਸਵਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਲ ਪੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਚਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
