शल्यस्य सेनापत्याभ्युपगमः | Śalya’s Acceptance of Command
ततो वाहान् समाश्रचस्य सर्वे युद्धाभिनन्दिन: । ऊने द्वियोजने गत्वा प्रत्यतिष्ठन्त कौरवा:
tato vāhān samāśvasya sarve yuddhābhinandinaḥ | ūne dviyojane gatvā pratyatiṣṭhanta kauravāḥ ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਫਿਰ ਯੁੱਧ-ਰਸਿਕ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਕੇ, ਦੋ ਯੋਜਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਘੱਟ ਦੂਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਰਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਠਹਿਰ ਕੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਲਾਇਆ।
