समाश्वस्ता: स्थिता राजन् सम्प्रह्ष्ठा: परस्परम् । समाजम्मुश्न युद्धाय मृत्युं कृत्वा निवर्तनम्
samāśvastāḥ sthitā rājan samprahṛṣṭāḥ parasparam | samājam uśnān yuddhāya mṛtyuṁ kṛtvā nivartanam ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਉਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿੰਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਡਟ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਯੁੱਧ ਦਾ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਮੁੱਲ ਮੰਨ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਹਟਣਾ ਅਸੰਭਵ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ।
