Transliteration

śīrṇa-pravara-yodhādya hata-vāji-ratha-dvipā

Translation

ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਹੁਣ ਅਗੇਵਾਨ ਯੋਧੇ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ; ਘੋੜੇ, ਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ—ਯੁੱਧਭੂਮੀ ਟੁੱਟੀ-ਭੱਜੀ ਤੇ ਸੁੱਕੀ-ਸੁੰਨੀ ਖੜੀ ਸੀ।
