Yuga-Lakṣaṇa and Varṣa-Pramāṇa Inquiry (युगलक्षण–वर्षप्रमाण–प्रश्न)
मड़ाश्न मशकाश्नैव मानसा मन्दगास्तथा । मज़ा ब्राह्मणभूयिष्ठा: स्वकर्मनिरता नूप
maṅgāś ca maśakāś caiva mānasā mandagās tathā | maṅgā brāhmaṇabhūyiṣṭhāḥ svakarmaniratā nṛpa ||
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਹਨ—ਮੰਗ, ਮਸ਼ਕ, ਮਾਨਸ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਦਗ। ਹੇ ਨਰੇਸ਼ਵਰ! ਮੰਗ ਜਨਪਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਖਿਆ ਵੱਧ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਸ੍ਵਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਤ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
