शकक्‍्यन्ते परिसंख्यातुं पुण्यास्ता हि सरिद्वरा: । तव पुण्या जनपदाश्षत्वारो लोकसम्मता:

Transliteration

śakyante parisaṅkhyātuṃ puṇyāstā hi saridvarāḥ | tava puṇyā janapadāś catvāro lokasammatāḥ ||

Translation

ਉਹ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮ ਪੁੰਨਵਾਨ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਗਿਣੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ; ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਅਸਾਧ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਟਾਪੂ-ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ-ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਚਾਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਜਨਪਦ ਵੀ ਹਨ।
