Sāttvika-vṛtta-kathana (Brahmā on the Conduct of Sattva) — Chapter 38
क्षमा धृतिरहिंसा च समता सत्यमार्जवम् | अक्रोधश्वानसूया च शौचं दाक्ष्यं पराक्रम:
kṣamā dhṛtir ahiṃsā ca samatā satyam ārjavam | akrodhaś cān asūyā ca śaucaṃ dākṣyaṃ parākramaḥ ||
ਵਾਯੁ-ਦੇਵ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਖ਼ਿਮਾ, ਧੀਰਜ, ਅਹਿੰਸਾ, ਸਮਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ, ਸੱਚਾਈ, ਸਾਦਗੀ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦਾ ਅਭਾਵ, ਪਰ-ਦੋਸ਼ ਨਾ ਵੇਖਣਾ, ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਤਾ, ਨਿਪੁੰਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ— ਇਹ ਸੱਤ੍ਵ-ਗੁਣ ਦੇ ਲੱਛਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਮ ਹਨ।
