Adhyāya 57: Tapas–Dāna Phala
On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
तत्र दिव्यानभिप्रायान् ददर्श कुशिकस्तदा । पर्वतान् रूप्यसानूंश्व नलिनीश्व सपड़कजा:
tatra divyān abhiprāyān dadarśa kuśikas tadā | parvatān rūpyasānūṁś ca nalinīś ca sapaṅkajāḥ ||
ਉੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਕੁਸ਼ਿਕ ਨੇ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਭਾਵ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਵੇਖੇ—ਚਾਂਦੀ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਢਲਾਨਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਹਾੜ, ਅਤੇ ਕਮਲ ਤੇ ਨੀਲੋਤਪਲ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਸਰੋਵਰ; ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਮੰਗਲਮਈ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚੇ ਲਕਸ਼ਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਖਿੱਚਦੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
