देवैर्विष्णोः शरणागमनम्—शिवलिङ्गस्थापनं, शिवसहस्रनामस्तवः, सुदर्शनचक्रप्रदानं च

युगादिकृद् युगावर्तो गंभीरो वृषवाहनः इष्टो विशिष्टः शिष्टेष्टः शरभः शरभो धनुः

Transliteration

yugādikṛd yugāvarto gaṃbhīro vṛṣavāhanaḥ iṣṭo viśiṣṭaḥ śiṣṭeṣṭaḥ śarabhaḥ śarabho dhanuḥ

Translation

ਉਹ ਯੁਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਦਿ-ਕਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਯੁਗ-ਚੱਕਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਵਰਤਕ ਹੈ; ਉਹ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਭਵਾਹਨ (ਧਰਮ-ਵਾਹਕ) ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇਸ਼ਟ, ਵਿਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟ, ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਿਯ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੂਜਿਤ ਹੈ; ਉਹ ਸ਼ਰਭ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਹੈ—ਸਭ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਮੋੜਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਤਾਕਤ।
