उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

अल्पाक्षरं महार्थं च वेदसारं विमुक्तिदम् आज्ञासिद्धमसंदिग्धं वाक्यमेतच्छिवात्मकम्

Transliteration

alpākṣaraṃ mahārthaṃ ca vedasāraṃ vimuktidam ājñāsiddhamasaṃdigdhaṃ vākyametacchivātmakam

Translation

ਇਹ ਬਚਨ ਅਲਪ ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਮਹਾ ਅਰਥ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ; ਵੇਦ ਦਾ ਸਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਆਗਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਧ, ਨਿਸ਼ਸੰਦੇਹ—ਇਹ ਵਾਕ੍ਯ ਸ਼ਿਵ-ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈ।
